I was trying to get a good deal within the budget. Running away from price private and luxurious villas in caldera and i found this one. Rating this 5 star as one of the best quality price i ever had, bare in mind what you are paying for. Family run hotel with people who take care anout their job. Enjoyed the swimming pool, rented a scooter to visit the island and enjoy every tip and talk with Georgia. Big applause to her. Next to bus stop, 5 min walking from the beach and a hotel that been in Perissa since years.
I can't begin to tell you how surprised i was when staying at the Santa Irini Hotel! On arrival we where greeted by Georgia, the most pleasant woman ive ever met..she's definitely in the right job! She was lovely to my two boys gave them greece hats and let us stay in our room until transfer came at 12.30. (check out 11.30) Our room was 3 single beds and a put up bed for my younger son (very comfortable) a lovely large balcony and an ok size bathroom with shower (water is salty from taps and shower) overall room was just what we needed as a base. Small fridge and a tv with only Greek channel but we weren't there to watch tv so never bothered us. Cleaned each day and fresh towels. Breakfast was treat each morning especially for my sons who loved the treats from the bakery that Georgia would present us with. Breakfast was ham cheese toasty selection of breads jam biscuits juice tea and coffee. Very good considering it was €55 per night for 4 of us! Georgia will help you with any information you would like to known about Perissa and getting around. My boys love the pool its massive, unfortunately pool bar not open but co op or bakery attached next door sells juice, water and beers. (bakery is fantastic 24 hour) Overall i cannot recommend this hotel enough. Its a 3/5 min walk to all the bars and tavernas (atlas is a must pizza is fantastic and memories bar is nice and chilled, child friendly ) 10 min walk to beach
the owner of the hotel was more then helpful gave us excellant information on what to see and when. This hotel is perfect for couples family or alone travellers that want an excellant and delicious breakfest but his hotel is perfect for the travellers that want a great and safe place to sleep. This is not an all-inclusive hotel... plus who stays in a hotel all day in Greece so much beauty to see. I would recommend this hotel in a heart beat.
My family has just returned from 2 weeks at the Santa Irini Hotel. Lovely staff who can't do enough for you, delicious breakfast from the family bakery and the best pool you could ask for, plenty of umbrellas and sunbeds (we had the pool to ourselves a lot of the time) a short walk to the beach and restaurants. This was our 3rd visit and will definitely be going back! Thank you! From Rachael x
what a fantastic little hotel, Lovely family run hotel with a great pool. rooms very comfortable as was air con. Family run bakery next door which was amazing. Only 10 minute walk to beach. 3 of us stayed in one room and had plenty of room. fridge provided which was great. Only drawback was noise from road at times, but got used to it. Thank you for great stay
If you are not looking for The Ritz, but just somewhere basic, clean, comfortable and ran by lovely people who want you to enjoy your holiday, then this is just the place. The pool area is really nice & most days we had this to ourselves. Georgia is lovely and the perfect hostess. Nothing is too much trouble and if you need any info/advice or stuck for something to do for a day, she will give you the best advice. Breakfast is adequate, and if you are still hungry at any time there is a 24hr bakery out front, which sells fantastic produce with lovely friendly staff. We had our doubts before we left, as we booked this last minute, but we honestly could not fault this place. They even gave us a gift as we were leaving. Thank you to all at Santa Irini Hotel for a lovely stay.
Santorini is crowded and touristy. This place is a bit of a distance from the main attractions. But the beach at Perissa is nice, and you can see a great sunset in Pirgos, which is just a few minutes away.Georgia, the woman at the front desk, is very sweet and helpful. Be sure to eat something from the Santa Irini bakery, just downstairs from the hotel. The hotel's breakfast includes bread from the bakery.
